Aethera was founded in 2026 by Kiran Pedapudi, who spent years adjudicating claims on the insurance side before running billing operations for providers.
Kiran Pedapudi has spent eighteen years on both sides of the American healthcare claim.
He entered the industry at Wipro BPO in 2007. From 2012 he worked the payer side of US health insurance — member services, provider services, and work audits at Ecosmos Solutions, then leading teams in claims processing, adjudication, and insurance credentialing at Progressive Corporate Services. In 2017 he joined STAT Billing Solutions (later Aqkode Healthcare Solutions), where he rose to General Manager of Operations, led both the payor and provider teams, served at board level within the Aqkode group, and — after the payer process wound down in 2021 — ran the provider-side RCM business along with the India operation end to end: operations, HR, IT, and compliance, until 2025.
Then he did something unusual for an operations veteran: he built. Aethera's eligibility-verification platform — deterministic parsing, live clearinghouse integration, a tamper-evident audit trail on every action — was designed and shipped by Kiran himself, with AI used the way Aethera uses it everywhere: aggressively for speed, never for guesswork.
Kiran holds a B.Com in Accounting from Loyola College, Chennai. When you work with Aethera, you work with him — the person who has adjudicated claims as the payer, recovered them as the provider, and now automates both.
Why we exist
US practices lose billions every year to preventable denials — half of them decided before the patient even reaches the front desk. The industry's answer has been cheaper labor or louder AI promises.
